In 2013 I formed SJFBENCON in response to a large energy company having some complex issues, effectively needing an internal consultant with technical and commercial competencies, in order to progress the necessary evolution. They needed resource devoted to drawing the various stakeholders together, doing the analysis, presenting solutions and giving them confidence. They needed someone able to understand their data, their figures and give them solutions. In short they wanted a “Chief Benefits Officer”. Someone on their side, understanding them, their culture and presenting workable resolutions, finally delivering the transformation in a holistic fashion with full accountability.
